MA 'Most Wanted' Fugitive Arrested In Philadelphia
Police said Carlos Vizcaino, 34, kidnapped a woman and raped her at knifepoint in New Bedford two years ago.

A man who police said raped and kidnapped a woman at knifepoint two years ago in New Bedford was arrested outside his Philadelphia home. Carlos Vizcaino, 34, was on Massachusetts State Police's "Most Wanted List" for nearly a year.
On May 31, 2018, New Bedford police found a nude woman who had been running from a vehicle on Kilburn Street. The woman was brought to the hospital with serious injuries. Police said Vizcaino held the woman at knifepoint and raped her for hours.
Vizcaino has a lengthy criminal record and numerous aliases.

Vizcaino was charged as a fugitive from justice. He will return to Massachusetts and face charges of rape, armed kidnapping with sexual assault, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with a dangerous weapon in connection, as well as drug and vehicle offenses connected to other incidents.
