Albert Ploude, 58, of Swansea, died Aug. 27, 2013. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth (Oliveira) Ploude and son of Alice (Damas) and the late Napoleon Ploude. He worked as a sales manager for Steve’s Auto Parts and was a retired Captain for the Swansea Fire Dept.
Albert was the father of Albert M. Ploude (wife, Lori) of Bristol and Thomas E.Ploude (wife, Shannon) of Methuen,; grandfather of Jacqueline Ploude; stepfather of Kyle Parker; brother of Marjorie Carpenter, Shirley Haggerty, Patricia Pausek, Janice Snider, Joan Hartwick, Mary Lou Williams, Michael Ploude, Maureen LaGrange, David Ploude, John Ploude, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 8 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Dominic’s Church in Swansea at 9 a.m.. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 from 4-9 p.m.
