Obituary: Annette Joan (Rapponeau) Lemire

Annette Joan (Rapponeau) Lemire of Seekonk died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was 69.

She was born in Holyoke to Cleo and Ora (Hebert) Rapponeau. She was married to her husband of more than 38 years, David A. Lemire Sr.

Lemire was a resident of Seekonk for more than 30 years. She was politically active in the community and a true animal lover who took care of many, many animals over the years. She was a District Manager for The Sun Chronicle before retiring in 2005. 

In addition to her husband, Lemire is survived by her children Robert Byron Jr., David Lemire Jr., Pamela Byron-Button, Allyn Richardson and Amy Lemire; nine grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew.

Lemire was preceded in death by her brother Edgar Rapponeau
