Audrey G. (Gilroy) Cunha, of Seekonk, passed away at home surrounded by her family Oct. 3, 2013.
She was the wife of Joseph A. Cunha.
Born in New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Jennie E. Gilroy. Audrey began her teaching career in the Pawtucket School Department in 1968 at the Flora S. Curtis School. In 1984 she became the principal of the Potter - Burns School, and in 1990 became principal of the Agnes E. Little School until retiring in 1999.
She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
In addition to her husband, Audrey leaves her son Cole C. Calistra and his wife Melissa of North Attleboro; her stepson Joseph Cunha Jr. of Pawtucket, R.I.; her two grandchildren Abigail and Jill Calistra; her brother David Gilroy of Hanover; her mother-in-law Virginia Cunha of Pawtucket, R.I.;Â and her niece Jennifer Marchesiani.
Interment at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery.
