Stacey A. (Mohler) Douglass, 50, of Rehoboth, passed away Oct. 10, 2013 at her home.
A wife and mother, Stacey was married to Scott Douglass, her husband of 28 years.
Born in Redding, Calif. to Dolores (Leonardo) Mohler and the late James E. Mohler of Weeki Wachee, Fla., she was a graduate of Joseph Case High School, Class of 1981 and Blake Computer Programing Institute in East Providence.
Stacey worked for the defense contractors Syscon and Analysis and Technology, in the Trident Submarine program. After having children, she devoted her life to being a mother. Later, she worked as a realtor for Country and Coastal properties of Little Compton, R.I.
Stacey enjoyed cooking, entertaining and reading with her book club. Stacey opened her home and made many feel like a part of the family. An active volunteer, Stacey gave many hours to sports and booster programs at her sons' high school, Providence Country Day.Â
In addition to her husband and mother, Stacey is survived by her three sons Scott, William and Samuel Douglass all of Rehoboth; her sister Donna L. Huftalen of Rehoboth; her three brothers James A. Mohler and his wife Dianne of Rehoboth, Michael J. Mohler and his wife Yelena of Seekonk and Mark D. Mohler and his wife Erin of Spring Hill, Fla.; her several nieces and nephews; and her great nephew.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, 9 a.m.  at Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Visiting hours Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Burial is private.Â
