OUI, Assault on Police Officer, Shoplifting
Five arrests are reported in Seekonk for Feb. 21-27.

The Seekonk Police Department reported the following recent arrests (an arrest does not indicate a conviction):
Feb. 21
- 8:56 p.m. James Manuel Senra, 39, of Fall River was arrested at Kohl's (1 Commerce Way) on suspicion of shoplifting.

- 10:50 p.m. Ryan Cassidy, 22, of Swansea was arrested on Highland Avenue on suspicion of OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Feb. 24
- 1:04 p.m. Charles K Rhynard III, 37, of Bristol was arrested at Shangri-La Motel (1495 Fall River Ave.) after East Providence police had requested Seekonk police check the room. He was arrested on three unspecified warrants as well as suspicion of possessing a class A drug and violating an abuse prevention order.
- 6:55 p.m. Steven Anthony Chaves, 22, was arrested at Target (79 Commerce Way) following a call about shoplifting. He was accused of larceny over $250, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer.

- 11:17 a.m. Robert Louis Gervais, 27, of Warren was arrested at the intersection of Warren and Fall River avenues following a traffic stop. He was accused of operating an uninsured and unregistered vehicle without a license as well as attaching illegal plates to the vehicle. In addition, there was an unspecified warrant for his arrest.
- 3:04 p.m. Edward Armand Bothelo, 31, of Warren was arrested at Walmart (1180 Fall River Ave.) on an unspecified warrant and on suspicion of shoplifting more than $100 worth of merchandise. Â
