Owl Rescued from Seekonk Soccer Net
A wayward owl that got stuck in a Seekonk soccer net this weekend was rescued.
SEEKONK, MA — A wayward owl was rescued after it got tangled in a Seekonk soccer net this weekend.
A Massachusetts Environmental Police officer responded to the scene Saturday and cut the owl free. It was not hurt.
The bird posed for a picture—seemingly angry at the whole ordeal—and flew off.
