Owner Seeks Help For Kitty Shot With A BB Gun
Owner says Zeus needs medical treatments for metal BBs found in his head and a kidney disorder.
FALL RIVER, MA — The adoptive owner of a cat who said X-rays revealed 15 metal BBs in his body — including eight in his head — is hoping for some help with the kitty's medical treatments. Melanie Gonyon, of Fall River, said she adopted the sick, frail cat she named Zeus after a friend found it outside.
Gonyon said Zeus is on a special diet for his kidneys and has issues in connection with the BBs in his body. With veterinarian fees mounting, she started a GoFundMe page looking for help with expenses.
As of Thursday, the GoFundMe had raised $208 of a $600 goal.

"Expenses are getting to be very expensive and will continue to be so," Gonyon, listed as the page's organizer, said, "if you can please help out, anything helps, me and Zeus would be entirely (grateful)!!!"
