Rain to Melt Remaining Snow in Seekonk, Swansea

SEEKONK/SWANSEA, MA — A wintry mix followed by rain this week will melt any remaining snow on the ground in Seekonk and Swansea.

A passing snow shower will drop about 2 inches on the region Tuesday afternoon. Things will change to rain Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures warm to 50 and higher.

Here’s the latest forecast:

• Tuesday: Snow in the afternoon and night, with about 2 inches of accumulation. Things change to rain after midnight. High of 39 degrees, low 31.
• Wednesday: Rain all day, with a possible thunderstorm at night. 30 mph wind gusts. High 39, low 38.
• Thursday: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. High 57, low 33.

Spring, by the way, starts March 20.
