Robert McKenna Memorial Blood Drive In Seekonk Saturday
A blood drive will be held Saturday in the Seekonk High Cafeteria in memory of lifelong blood donor Robert McKenna.
SEEKONK, MA — A blood drive in memory of Robert McKenna, a lifelong blood donor and man dedicated to the community of Seekonk, will be held Saturday at the Seekonk High Cafeteria. The drive will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Arcade Avenue.
Blood drive organizers remembered McKenna as a many with a bright attitude and a caring spirit.
"When Bob was diagnosed with lung cancer he would tell people not to feel sorry for him, saying 'I had a good life.' Indeed, it was a life in which he was devoted to his family and his community."
