School Security, New Location for Seniors on Town Meeting Warrant

Funding for upgrades to the security system at Seekonk Public Schools, temporary relocation of the senior center and the Banna Fire Station project are among the items on the warrant for tonight's special Town Meeting.

The warrant is attached to this article. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Seekonk High School, located at 261 Arcade Ave. 

There has been some behind-the-scenes chatter of a possible error in the official notification for the meeting. Some people say this means the session must be postponed. Board of Selectmen Chair Francis Cavaco told Seekonk Patch Sunday the meeting was officially noticed properly. Check Patch throughout the day to see if there is a postponement.
