Seekonk Names Next Principal Of Martin Elementary School
Jennifer McKay will formally begin her new role on July 1.
SEEKONK, MA — Superintendent Rich Drolet has announced that Jennifer McKay has been chosen as the next principal of George R. Martin Elementary School.
McKay, who was chosen out of approximately 20 applicants by a search committee, will formally begin her new role on July 1.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Jen to Seekonk and the Martin Elementary School community,” said Drolet in a statement. “Jen brings with her a wealth of experience that will not only benefit our students but our community as a whole. I’d like to thank our search committee for their thorough job in selecting highly qualified candidates to be considered for this role.”

McKay has worked at the William S. Greene Elementary School in Fall River for the lat 17 years. She has held multiple positions at the school, including a fifth-grade teacher, literacy coach, vice principal, and interim principal.
