Seekonk, Swansea Among Best Places To Buy A Home In MA: Study

SEEKONK-SWANSEA, MA – There's no better time than now to buy a home in Seekonk, according to a study from website LendEDU. The site named Seekonk 19th on its list of "Best 100 Places to Buy a Home in Massachusetts." Swansea also made the cut, coming in at No. 61.

LendEDU based its list off of three parameters – home income to home value ratio, five-year population forecast and five-year income forecast. The measurements were selected because they can influence a homebuyer's investment. If a community is anticipating growth in both population and income, then the return on a buyer's investment will increase over time.

Home income to home value and five-year population forecast were measured on a 40-point scale; five-year income forecast was listed out of 20.

Income: 17.44

Value: 33.92

Population: 16.04

Income: 15.50

Total: 65.46
