Seekonk The Paper Store to ‘Strike Out Cancer’ with the Jimmy Fund

Annual fundraising campaign starts July 26 at participating The Paper Store locations across the Northeast

ACTON, MA – From July 26 through August 15, customers at participating The Paper Store locations will be invited to contribute $1, $3, or $5 to the Jimmy Fund’s “Strike Out Cancer” pin-up campaign. In return for their contributions, customers will receive a baseball pin-up to write their name, or the name of a friend or loved one. The pin-ups will be displayed in stores, showing customers how easy it is to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The Paper Store has over 70+ store locations across the Northeast (CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ & RI).

The Paper Store has generously supported the Jimmy Fund since 2011, having raised more than $260,000 for the “Strike Out Cancer” campaign. When customers purchase a baseball pin-up, 100 percent of the proceeds go directly to the Jimmy Fund, which supports cancer research and patient care at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. “The message of giving back and helping others is at the heart of what we do,” says Tom Anderson, Chief Operating Officer of The Paper Store. “We are consistently overwhelmed by the generosity of our customers and grateful for their contributions to the’ Strike Out Cancer’ campaign.” “We’re very excited to kick-off this year’s program and look forward to connecting our community with this incredible cause.”
