Seekonk Power Outage: 2,400+ Affected By Downed Wire

SEEKONK, MA — A downed wire cut power to more than a third of Seekonk Friday morning. The outage was reported at about 11:15 a.m. and left 2,446 without power, according to National Grid. The downed wire was located on Mill Road and police said National Grid crews were at the scene as of 11:20 a.m.

The 2,446 outage figure represents 37 percent of Seekonk.

The outages were fixed just before noon.
