Seekonk, Swansea Have 15 Millionaires: Report

Seekonk and Swansea have 11 and four millionaires, respectively, according to a report by the Boston Business Journal.

The BBJ analyzed 2013 tax data and found Seekonk had 11 millionaire filers, down from 14 the year before. Swansea had four, down from six the year before.

Seekonk’s millionaires earned an average of $2.5 million, while Swansea’s earned an average of $2.6 million.

These other communities topped the Journal’s list:

• Newton 1,058 millionaires
• Wellesley 726
• Weston 491
• Brookline 417
• Cambridge 404

There were 12,501 millionaires in the state in 2013, an 8 percent drop from the previous year, the Journal reported.
