Seekonk Triplets to Host Driving Safety Summit
The brothers want people to stop texting while driving.

The following is an edited press release from AT&T:
More than 250 students from high schools across the country will participate this Friday in the Massachusetts Distracted Driving Summit at the Massachusetts State House in Boston. The event was spearheaded by Seekonk High School sophomore triplets Brian, Matthew and Timothy Salit.
The Salit brothers were inspired to create this event after attending the National Organization for Youth Safety's Teen Distracted Driving Summit last year in Washington D.C. They will work to educate their peers on the dangers of texting while driving, and encourage them to bring those lessons to students at their own schools.

The event’s featured speaker will be Will Craig, a survivor of a texting accident whose powerful story is featured in AT&T's "Texting and Driving: It Can Wait" commercials.
AT&T, a sponsor of the summit, has partnered with Essex County District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett during the last two years to educate Massachusetts students on the dangers of texting while driving. Blodgett successfully prosecuted the nation's first texting and driving case.
