Seekonk Waitress Saves Choking Diner: Report
A waitress at the Seekonk Not Your Average Joe's reportedly saved a choking elderly woman.
SEEKONK, MA — A Seekonk waitress was credited with saving an elderly woman at Not Your Average Joe's over the weekend. WPRI reported Kelley Sousa noticed the elderly woman choking and jumped into action, performing the Heimlich maneuver and CPR.
"She was completely blue," Sousa told WPRI.
The woman eventually regained consciousness and is recovering, according to the news station.
