Silver Alert: Police Searching For Missing Swansea Man

John Mcintosh was last seen at his home around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

SWANSEA, MA — Swansea police are asking for the public's help to locate an 86-year-old Swansea man who went missing on Wednesday, said a silver alert from the Swansea Police Department.

John Mcintosh was last seen at his home around 11 a.m. by family members, said police. His family said he frequently goes out for drives or visits the casinos in Lincoln and Tiverton, but has not been found at either casino or area hospitals.

Police said Mcintosh is a white man who is approximately 5'7" and 170 pounds. He has blue eyes, white hair with goatee-style facial hair, and Navy tattoos on his arms. He was last seen wearing jeans, white sneakers, a plaid shirt, a black leather hat, and a jacket.

Mcintosh may be operating a red 2000 Ford F-150 with an extended cab and Massachusetts license plate number 9LF612, said police.

Investigators say Mcintosh was also reported missing in 2019 and was found in Middletown.
