Snow Emergency Declared In Swansea

SWANSEA, MA — A snow emergency has been declared in Swansea ahead of Wednesday's expected snowstorm. Up to four inches of snow is forecast for areas of southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The ban is set to begin at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning and expire at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. During the snow emergency there is no parking on any town street. Violators may be ticketed or towed.
