Sonic Opens Another Massachusetts Store in Somerset
Sonic opened its latest Massachusetts restaurant in Somerset—the first of dozens of Bay State locations in the pipeline.
SOMERSET, MA — Sonic opened its latest Massachusetts location—the first of dozens planned over the next several years.
The fast-food chain on Tuesday opened its new Somerset store to the public for a preview event from noon to 7 p.m. Customers must say the password "carhop" to get in. All menu items are available and the drive-through will be open. The store's grand opening is Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Our Facebook event will take place on Tuesday April 12 from 12pm-7pm and our official GRAND OPENING is Wednesday April 13 at 10am!

It's Sonic's fourth Massachusetts location, in addition to Peabody, Wilmington, and Lawrence. Another store is set to open soon in Stoughton.
Based in Oklahoma, Sonic last year announced plans to open about 35 more Massachusetts stores in the next five years.
