Swansea Declares Snow Parking Ban

SWANSEA, MA — Due to the forecast of snow overnight Monday into Tuesday, Swansea has declared a parking ban starting at midnight. Vehicles left on public roads during a parking ban are subjected to ticketing and towing at the owner's expense.

The ban is scheduled to run from midnight Monday night until noon on Tuesday unless conditions warrant otherwise.

Forecasts for southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island are for between one and three inches of snow starting around midnight and continuing throughout Tuesday. Snow may mix with rain and ice at times, and is expected to be heaviest during the morning commute and late morning.
