Swansea Time Capsule Opening This Weekend
The last time capsule was opened in 2000 and replaced with 250 capsules.

SWANSEA, MA – The town of Swansea will hold a time capsule opening ceremony Saturday, Oct. 14 in front of Town Hall, 81 Main St. The event will begin at 11 a.m.
The time capsule was last opened in 2000 and replaced with 250 capsules, according to a town press release.

Residents are asked to contact any of the families on the list with whom they are familiar. The town will not open any capsules unless the family is present and gives permission.
