Tree Worker Killed In Swansea Accident Last Week
Taylor Bowen, 28, of Rehoboth, died after being injured by a tree limb in Swansea last week.
SWANSEA, MA — A tree worker was killed in last week's accident in Swansea. Police say that 28-year-old Taylor Bowen, of Rehoboth, died after being injured by a tree limb as he worked from a bucket in a truck on Sept. 19, near a home on Deborah Lane.
The 911 call on the incident came in around 10:43 a.m., police say. After emergency officials found Bowen unconscious, Bowen was lowered from the bucket of the truck and medical staff performed CPR. Bowen was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by Swansea ambulance, and he was later pronounced dead, according to police.
Bowen's death is being investigated by Seansea police detectives, the State Police detectives assigned to the Bristol County Attorney's Office and OSHA.
