Celebrate Sharon Police K9 Flutie's First Birthday
Sharon community resource dog will hold a meet and greet Sunday afternoon at the Public Safety Building.
SHARON, MA — Flutie is turning a year old and wants to celebrate with Sharon residents. The Sharon police community resource K9 will be the guest of honor at a birthday part Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the public safety building.
This family event will include free ice cream and cupcakes, an ability to check out cruisers and fire trucks and meet Flutie and his family. The birthday boy will be available for photos.
Sharon police ask that instead of bringing Flutie a present, donations of dog food be made to Golden Opportunities for Independence — a local, non-profit that trains service dogs for a variety of people. Any unopened dog foot item is appreciated, but not required to attend.
