Coronavirus: Sharon Supends Yard Waste Collection Until Fall

Sharon is asking all residents to secure weekly trash pickups within barrels during the coronavirus health emergency.

SHARON, MA — Sharon has suspended the pickup of yard waste and bulk items indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. There will continue to be weekly trash pickup, but residents are asked to safety secure all trash items inside of a barrel and not to use overflow bags.

Officials said the yard waste pickup has been suspended throughout the spring and a decision will be made to continue the service in the fall.
