Flooding Delays Reopening Of Sharon Public Library

Flooding on the lower floor has closed the Sharon Public Library on what would have been its phase 3 reopening on Monday.

SHARON, MA — Flooding on the lower floor has delayed the reopening of the Sharon Public Library.

The library was closed on Monday on what would have been the first day of reopening as part of phase 3 of the state's reopening plans. Curbside pickup was also canceled for Monday.

As part of the reopening — when the library does reopen — it will be closed between 2 and 3 p.m. each day for sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces. Parents are advised to keep children away from the library if they are feeling ill in any way.
