Fourth of July in Sharon: What You Need to Know

The Sharon Independence Day celebration will take place on July 3.

Sharon, MA — With the Fourth of July just about here, Sharon is getting ready for their own celebration!

This year, the Sharon Fourth of July fireworks will take place on July 3 at 9:30 p.m. at Lake Massapoag. To help you get ready for the Fourth of July in Sharon, here's the full schedule of events:

  • 4 p.m. - Bicycle and Doll Carriage Parade. The parade will travel on Beach Street to the bandstand. Participants should line up at Beech Tree Park at 3:45 p.m.
  • 4:30–9:30 p.m. - Lakeside celebration featuring games, rides, the Fourth Annual Sharon Food Truck Festival, and more.
  • 4:30 p.m. - Face Painting and craft activities, at the picnic tables on the grass outside the bandstand.
  • 4:30 p.m. - Clown performance at the bandstand by Circus Dynamics
  • 8:30 p.m. - Pie Eating Contest ($50 first place prize, must be 18 years or older to participate. Sign up at the main gate with a Sharon Independence Day Committee member)
  • 6:30–9:30 p.m. - Live music featuring the Whole Earth Orchestra!
  • 9:30 p.m. - Fireworks
