Gymnasts Shine at the Hockomock League Championships

What an exciting evening for the Sharon High School gymnastics team. Winning the team competition easily with a total team score of 138.95 the gymnasts out shined their competitors. In the individual All Around competition Natalie Maidment’s clean performance on each event put her in first place, winning the All Around title! She also finished 1st on beam, 2nd on bars, 3rd on FX, and 4th on Vault. Rachel Greene came in 2nd All Around, and finished 2nd on Vault, Bars and Floor. In the individual event competition Dagney Winner finished 2nd on bars, Jessica Stead finished 2nd on Floor, Alice Herman finished 4th on Bars, Arianna Chabot finished 3rd on both Vault and Beam, and Darren LePage finished 1st on Vault and 4th on Floor. Looking forward to the upcoming competitions: the State Individual Meet on February 15th at Algonquin Regional High School, and the South Sectional Championship on February 21st at Hudson High School, these athletes have a great chance to shine again.
