SHARON, MA — Sharon plans to show its support for the staff and residents of Whitney Place Assisted Living and Memory Care on Wednesday with a vehicle parade of decorated cars.

Family and friends of staff and residents are asked to decorate their vehicles with balloons, posters in the theme of "Heroes Work Here," "Pen Pals Are Our Heroes" and "We're In This Together." The Sharon Public Library is helping to organize the event.

The parade is scheduled to kick off at Shaw's on South Main Street and then go around Whitney Place so all residents can see it from their windows. Vehicles are asked to meet at 1:30 at the Shaw's parking lot.
