SHARON, MA — Sharon residents will be able to bring tree branches, limbs and other storm debris downed during Tropical Storm Isaias to the Farnham Road compost site on Thursday and Friday.

While there will be no curbside pickup, the compost site will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.

There were nearly 90,000 Massachusetts customers still without power due to the storm as of early Wednesday night after the number reached nearly 200,000 customers on Tuesday night. While most of the outages were in Western and South Central Mass., Southeastern Mass. was also hard hit with communities like Attleboro and Easton suffering some of the biggest damage.
