Sharon Families Invited To 'Bear Hunt' This Weekend
Sharon families with young children are invited to look around town for bears placed in windows while practicing social distancing.

SHARON, MA — Sharon families with small children are invited to practice social distancing while going on a "bear hunt" around town this weekend. Homeowners all over the country have been placing teddy bears in windows to give children something to look for as they walk around neighborhoods with family members amid the new coronavirus health emergency.
The Sharon bear hunt can be ongoing — but residents can especially consider putting a bear in a street-facing window this weekend for children to keep their eyes peeled on Saturday and Sunday.
The activity is based on the 1989 Michael Rosen book "We're Going On A Bear Hunt" and has been embraced in recent weeks as children across the country have limited playing time with those who are not members of their immediate family due to social distancing directives.
