Lily Dudek is one of 10 kids competing on Sat. at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston has announced their 2018-2019 Creative Crew and to celebrate, the ten members will compete on Sat. October 13th from 10:00 am-12:30 pm at the first-ever Junior Brick Factor event, a live LEGO® brick building competition. One of the Creative Crew members is Sharon resident Lily Dudek, age 7.
The kids will be challenged in two rounds of brick building, each with a different theme. At the end of the two rounds, one will be named the first “Junior Master Model Builder.”
The Creative Crew contest was held on Facebook Sept. 5th through Friday, Sept. 28th. To apply, children had to answer the question, “What does LEGO mean to you?” and submit a video or photo of a unique build they created along with a written answer.

“This year’s Creative Crew was chosen because they demonstrated excellent building and creativity skills in their applications and I’m excited to see all the things they will build when we host our first ever Junior Brick Factor event,” said Megan Amaral, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston’s Master Model Builder. “These are the next generation of LEGO® builders so it’s fun for me to see the different ways they use LEGO® bricks and all the exciting builds they will create.”
The Junior Brick Factor event is open to the public with paid admission to LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston. The attraction is open daily at 10 am and advance tickets are suggested to guarantee admission and can be purchased online at www.legolanddiscoverycenter.com/boston
