Sharon High School 2012 School Council Election

Sharon High School is set to hold its official election for the 2012 School Council on Thursday, Oct. 11.

The council is co-led by the school's principal, the group includes several students, parents, faculty, and community members. Its primary purpose is to serve as a vehicle for assisting the principal in the development of the school’s annual improvement plan. 

There is currently one opening for a parent and one opening for a community representative (not a SHS parent) for School Council, both with two year terms.

Any parent or community representative interested in running must submit a brief written statement of intent to the PTSO President, Karen Birnbaum at ptsoprez@shsptso.com.

Those interested must state why they want to be on the School Council and why their participation would be beneficial to the School Council.
