Sharon To Host Virtual Event On Pandemic Parenting
The event is sponsored by Everwood Day Camp and The Sharon Education Foundation.
SHARON, MA — Everwood Day Camp and The Sharon Educational Foundation are sponsoring a free online event to help families with teenagers cope with the changes of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event, Pandemic Parenting: Adolescence and Teen-Life, will take place via Zoom on Monday, March 1 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m and is open to the public.
Michael Thompson, PhD will be leading the talk and addressing issues such as changing school and extracurricular activity schedules, diminished engagement and academic motivation among adolescents, and parent-child conflict in regards to their teens' freedom and social lives during the pandemic.

The event will offer suggestions for families struggling in their relationship with their teens and allow participants to ask questions in a Q&A period.
