Sharon Household Hazardous Waste Dropoff Announced
Sharon will host a hazardous household waste collection day on July 8.
SHARON, MA —Sharon residents will have the opportunity to dispose of hazardous household items ranging from gasoline to pesticides to photography chemicals during the town's household hazardous waste collection day.
The collections will be accepted on July 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Sharon Department of Public Works. The collections are open to all Sharon residents with proof of residency required.
Only hazardous materiel will be accepted. Not hazardous bulk items — such as electronics, tires and bulky items — will not be accepted due to the coronavirus health crisis since workers will not be able to collect fees for items. Contact the town website for information on how to recycle these items.

Residents will be required to stay in their vehicles during drop off.
