Sharon To Increase Seat Belt Patrols
Sharon Police Department has begun "Click It Or Ticket" patrols over the next few weeks.
SHARON, MA — Sharon police have begun patrols enforcing seat belts usage through a grant from the Executive Office of Public Safety.
Police said they will be conducting "High Visibility Deterrent Patrols" over the next few weeks concentrating on speed, distracted driving, aggressive driving and seat belt violations, as traffic is expected to increase with the expiration of the coronavirus stay-at-home order.
With more bikers and walkers on the road practicing social distancing, there is even more reason to practice safe driving habits on Sharon roads and potential dangers for distracted driving.
