Ms. Claeboe was a former resident of Sharon and taught at Sharon Public Schools.

Anita Dawson Claeboe, 90, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, formerly of Sharon, MA, died March 21, 2013, after a long illness.
She was Number One National Tennis Champion 2013, womens division, 90 and over, and a retired teacher, Sharon (MA) public schools.
Member, Daughters of the American Revolution; Sawgrass Country Club; High Rollers Trivial Pursuit Club; Jacksonville Beach Bridge Club.

Born in Cologne, Germany, she grew up in Jacksonville, graduating from the Bartram School, and Tufts niversity in MA.
Widow of Alfred M. Claeboe; sister of Carl (Jan) and Robert Dawson, Jacksonville; mother of Beverly Keyes, Needham, MA; Anne Dorian King (Davis), Maui, HI; Una Davis, La Jolla CA; and Norman Keyes, Jr. (Sarah), Devon, PA. Grandmother of Nicholas Keyes (Whitney), Greenwich, CT, Stephen Keyes, New York City, Alexandra Davis and James Davis, Los Angeles; MaryHall, Norman III, and Dawson Keyes, Devon, PA. She also leaves two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Dr., Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.
Interment was private.
