Sharon Obituary: Patricia M. Murphy

Patricia M. (Finn) Murphy, of Centerville, formerly of Sharon, died March 16, 2013.

She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Murphy to whom she was married 50 years, and daughter of the late Matthew C. and Mary G. Finn. She was active in civic and community affairs, and is a graduate of Simmons College, Stonehill College, and Massachusetts General School of Nursing. She is survived by her loving children, Kathy Finn of Hyannis, Dennis Murphy of Harwich, Peter Murphy of Easton, and Mary Beth O'Dea of Foxboro; her sister of Mary Deschenes; and her brother, Peter Finn; and is predeceased by her siblings, Matthew Finn, Sheila Costello, and John Finn; and her loving grandmother; and great-grandmother.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd., (Route 28) MARSTONS MILLS followed by burial at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Centerville.

Visiting hours are omitted.
