Sharon Playground Vandalized Over Weekend

SHARON, MA — Sharon police are looking for the public's help as they try to identify those responsible for damaging Ames Playground this weekend.

Sharon police released photos showing fences damaged and pulled out so there was access to the playground, which has been shut due to the coronavirus health crisis.

Police said there was also a report of a car being broken into on nearby Wilshire Drive on Monday. Residents are advised to lock their cars when unattended and remove any valuables.

Those with any information on the damage to the playground or car break-in are asked to contact Sharon police at 781-784-1587 and ask for the Detective Bureau.
