Sharon Polar Plunge To Benefit Special Olympics
Close to 300 swimmers are pledged to hit the icy water on Feb. 29 to benefit Massachusetts Special Olympics.
SHARON, MA — It will be cool, funky costumes and freezing cold water for a good cause on Feb. 29 when hundreds hit the shores of Lake Massapoag for the Sharon Polar Plunge. Close to 300 plungers had registered as of this week to benefit the Massachusetts Special Olympics.
"Why not get a group of friends, co-workers, teammates together and take to plunge and check it off your 'Bucket List' — all the time helping to raise money for some amazing Special Olympic athletes?" Polar Plunge organizers posted on their Facebook page.
