Sharon Police Department Hiring School Crossing Guards

SHARON, MA — The Sharon Police Department is currently hiring full-time and part-time crossing guards for the town's public schools.
Applicants must be 18 years old, have transportation, and pass a full background check, said the department.
Hired crossing guards will be required to work an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. Times vary depending on school start and closing times, but are approximately 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The approximate pay is $40 per day.

"SPD is extremely grateful for all of our school crossing guards and we admire their commitment and dedication to the safety of our children," said the Sharon Police Department in a Twitter post.
"If dedication defines you, this rewarding job may be perfect."
