Sharon Police To Increase Patrols Targeting Impaired Drivers

The Massachusetts Highway Safety Division is funding the patrols over the next few weeks.

SHARON, MA — Sharon police will increase patrols targeting impaired drivers over the next few weeks through funding from the Massachusetts Highway Safety Division.

Sharon will participate in the "National Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" safety campaign to combat impaired driving.

Sharon police ask that everyone designate a sober driver or utilize a ride-sharing service if impaired.

"Do the right thing and never drive drunk or high," police said in announcing the patrols.
