Sharon police said they would like to have more events after organizing a ride and safety discussion with elementary school students.

SHARON, MA — Sharon police are looking to organize more "Biking with a Cop" events after a successful first day with elementary school students in the neighborhood of East Elementary.
Police credited community leader Jill Gold with helping organize the first event, which kicked off with a discussion of safety recommendations, riding techniques and a group ride through a bicycle obstacle course.
The group then went on a ride through the neighborhood that ended back at the school for Crescent Ridge ice cream.
