Sharon Police Make Pink Patch Donation To Dana Farber
Sharon police said they were able to make an $850 donation through sales of pink police patches.
SHARON, MA — The Sharon Police Department was able to make an $830 donation to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from money raised through sales of its pink Sharon Police patch. All proceeds from the sales were earmarked for cancer research.
Many of the Sharon police officers wore the pink patches on their patrol uniforms during cancer awareness month.
"May 2020 be the year when research brings us closer to a cure," Sharon police posted on their Facebook page in announcing the donation.
