Every year, each community reports the fluoride level in its water system to the Office of Oral Health. Awards are then presented to those who adjust the fluoride concentration in their water, achieve an optimal fluoride level for 12 consecutive months, and document their fluoride levels in CDC's Water Fluoridation Reporting System.
