Sharon To Require Proof Of Residence For Town Beach Access

SHARON, MA — Beach access Sharon will be restricted to residents only beginning on Saturday.

The Sharon Recreation Department said that anyone visiting Veterans' Memorial Park Beach and Community Center Beach must provide proof of residency at the gate. Identification could be in the form of a valid driver's license, registration and school ID.

Anyone 14 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult 21 years old or older.
