Sharon Schools Announce 3 Finalists For Superintendent Position
The candidates will be interviewed by the Sharon School Committee starting Monday.
SHARON, MA — Sharon Public Schools announced Wednesday that three finalists have been chosen for the vacant position of Superintendent of Schools.
Over the last several weeks, the Sharon Superintendent Screening Committee has reviewed 27 applications and conducted preliminary interviews with several candidates, three of which are now being recommended for further consideration by the Sharon School Committee.
"I am most grateful to the members of the Screening Committee for the many hours they devoted to reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and deliberating during the preliminary selection process," said Veronica Wiseman, Chair of the Sharon Superintendent Screening Committee, in a letter to the school committee.

"Their questions were always focused on finding the strongest candidates to serve as Superintendent of Schools in Sharon," she continued. "Their insight, thoughtfulness, and respect for each of the candidates they interviewed reflected well on the Sharon community. It was a pleasure to work with this lovely group of truly dedicated people."
The three finalists chosen by the screening committee are as follows:

- Peter Botelho, Ed.D.
- Margaret Ferrick, Ed.D.
- Frank Hackett, Ed.D.
The candidates will be interviewed by the school committee on Monday, Feb. 22 and Tuesday, Feb. 23 and will be participating in student, parent, and staff meet and greets this week.
