Sharon Town Buildings To Remain Closed To Public Through June 1

Sharon town buildings will remain closed to the public through June 1 due to the coronavirus health emergency.

SHARON, MA — Sharon town offices will remain closed to the public until at least June 1, and staff will continue to work on a reduced schedule, due to the coronavirus health emergency.

The schedule for town staff will be reduced, while still allowing them to meet the essential needs of the community. The offices will be staffed Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents are are encouraged to use online resources, including online bill pay, and contact town staff via telephone or email with any questions.

Sharon officials said they are working on a plan, with guidance from the state based on the outline released on Monday, to be able to safely reopen to the public when appropriate.
