Sharon Would Get Over $4 Million In State Transportation Bill
The state House and Senate agreed on a $16.5 billion transportation bill Wednesday.
SHARON, MA — The Massachusetts House and Senate agreed on a $16.5 billion transportation funding bill early Wednesday morning, which would provide $4.698 million for projects in Sharon.
The bill, which was passed almost unanimously following a session that lasted until after 4 a.m., now heads to Gov. Charlie Baker's desk for approval.
The bill would provide funding for the following projects in Sharon:

- $698,000 for the Robin Rd. drainage project
- $4 million to improve the roadways and parking on both the inbound and outbound sides of the Sharon train station
